The Ministry of Education and Child Care has approved funding to build a licenced child care facility to be incorporated into the new Carson Elementary School.
The Quesnel Board of Education announced plans for a balanced budget for the 2024/25 fiscal year at the May 15 Regular Board meeting. The Annual Budget Bylaw is set at $52,548,016.

The Ministry of Education and Child Care (“MECC) has announced that funding of up to $61.2 million has been approved to replace and expand Carson Elementary School (“Carson”). The new school will have an increased capacity of 195 seats for a total of 390 seats and will include an expanded gym and a neighbourhood learning centre.
